DESCRIPTION:2024 BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year\, bassist URSULA HARRISON\, together with rising star vocalist SYLVIE NOBLE bring their intimate and exploratory contemporary jazz/folk to Swanage. \nThis gig will take place in The Studio at The Mowlem Theatre\,\nShore Road\, Swanage\, BH19 1DD. \nTicket link below \nSylvie and Ursula (who played a memorable gig at SoundCellar Poole in 2024\, alongside SoundCellar Mowlem jazz legend Eddie Gripper)\, first met on the vibrant South-Wales jazz scene\, bonding over a shared love of both jazz and folk music. \nRecording their debut album ‘New Eve’ in summer 2025\, the subsequent year has seen them embrace a collective approach to story telling\, both bringing original compositions and lyrics to the project. Their sound combines deep\, earthy grooves\, light dancing melodies and powerful swing.
