DESCRIPTION:SoundCellar presents: In Our Own Space \nThursday 4th June sees the start of a series of performances via the Zoom platform to bring some regular and some new SoundCellar artists direct to your ‘own space’. The schedule for Thursday will be 8.15pm start\, a one set performance followed by a Q&A session with the artist. \nThe series starts with pianist SAM LEAK. Sam performs contemporary jazz with a gospel-tinged\, and folk-inspired\, freedom and abandon. Conjuring up the joy and emotion typified by Paul Bley and Keith Jarrett\, he maintains a sense of the tradition whilst performing music that is very much rooted in the UK Jazz movement of the moment.
