DESCRIPTION:Saxophonist/composer Jon Lloyd returns to SoundCellar with his new quartet featuring John Law on piano\, Nick Pini on double bass and Alex Goodyear on drums. The quartet will be playing music from their new album Earth Songs released on Ubuntu Music. \nThis gig will take place at The Grasshopper\,\n139 – 141 Bournemouth Rd\, Poole BH14 9HT. \nPlease note: If parking in either of the car parks at The Grasshopper\, you must register your vehicle on one of the dedicated terminals at the bar or in the function room. \nTicket link below \n Jon Lloyd has been part of the UK jazz and free music scene for several decades\, releasing numerous albums as a leader. He has now turned his attention to European contemporary jazz\, writing vibrant\, melodic and emotionally direct jazz compositions.
