Saxophonist/composer Jon Lloyd returns to SoundCellar with his new quartet featuring John Law on piano, Nick Pini on double bass and Alex Goodyear on drums. The quartet will be playing music from their new album Earth Songs released on Ubuntu Music.

Jon Lloyd has been part of the UK jazz and free music scene for several decades, releasing numerous albums as a leader. He has now turned his attention to European contemporary jazz, writing vibrant, melodic and emotionally direct jazz compositions. The quartet comprises the virtuosic John Law (Congregation, Re-Creations) on piano, Nick Pini (Jonathan Gee, Iain Ballamy) on double bass and Alex Goodyear (Yetii) on drums.

The offers are available for over 90% of our gigs, but subject to seat availability, so for some gigs, it’s best to book early to avoid disappointment.
Parking is free at The Grasshopper but you must register your vehicle at the bar.
