French vocalist Véronique Joly brings her distinctive blend of French chanson, Brazilian bossa nova and contemporary jazz to the intimate Mowlem Showbar. Her warm and expressive voice combines beautifully with guitarist Rob Palmer, bassist Rodney Teague and drummer Andy Chapman, creating an intimate and sophisticated quartet sound.
Expect elegant melodies, infectious Brazilian rhythms and fresh interpretations of classic material, alongside original songs and Véronique’s own lyrical adaptations. With four musicians who share a deep love of Brazilian music and jazz, this promises an evening full of groove, colour and musical interplay.
