Sylvie and Ursula (who played a memorable gig at SoundCellar Poole in 2024, alongside SoundCellar Mowlem jazz legend Eddie Gripper), first met on the vibrant South-Wales jazz scene, bonding over a shared love of both jazz and folk music.

Recording their debut album ‘New Eve’ in summer 2025, the subsequent year has seen them embrace a collective approach to story telling, both bringing original compositions and lyrics to the project. Their sound combines deep, earthy grooves, light dancing melodies and powerful swing. The duo incorporates a fearless approach to improvisation in all they make, with each live performance a true conversation.

Harrison and Noble totally blew everybody away with the quality of their singing and playing, the intimacy and maturity of the performance, their almost telepathic rapport – and perhaps most significantly the quality of the original songs’ – The JazzMann (Black Mountain Jazz, 2025)

Sylvie and Ursula’s forthcoming album should be a 2026 highlight‘ – Jon Turney, UK Jazz News

Admission is £14 (1.09 booking fee)
