A unique SoundCellar curated meeting of UK guitar legend MIKE OUTRAM with rising star jazz guitarist GARETH FOWLER and the amazing rhythm section of electric bassist CHRIS ATTWELL and local drum hero ANDY CHAPMAN. Expect musical fireworks from these four outstanding musicians!

A regular at SoundCellar since 2010, guitarist Mike Outram has played music all over the world & recorded around 100 albums with people like Steven Wilson, Carleen Anderson, Tim Garland, Theo Travis, Steve Lawson, Robert Fripp, Jo Harman, Laura Rossi, Herbie Mann, Hadrian Feraud, Hamish Stuart, Stefan Redtenbacher, Keith Carlock, John Ashton Thomas, Jeremy Stacey, Cory Wong, Tony Remy, Mike Farris, Nikki Iles and many others.
Guitarist Gareth Fowler graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in 2018 where he studied privately with Rodney Jones, John Riley and Dayna Stevens. He has performed at Carnegie Hall NYC, The 55 Bar, Bar Next Door, throughout the UK, Europe, South Africa, Malaysia, Mexico and Hawaii. Some artists Gareth has performed with include, Percy Purseglove, Mike Williams, Pablo Held, Naima Acuna, Chris Potter, Julian Arguelles, Troy Miller, Andrew Bain, Alec Harper, Laura Jurd, Steven Fiefke Bigband, JK Kim, Mark Hodgson, Alex Merrit, Elliot Samson, Jeremy Price, Henry Lowther, Art Theman, Perico Sambeat and many others.
Chris Attwell is an English bass player and composer born in Bournemouth. Some of the artists he has worked for as a side-man to date are; Brandon Allen, Jamie Murray, Rainer Hersch, Perico Sambeat, Jorge Pardo and was invited by Yamaha to collaborate at La Rioja drum festival in 2017 with artists such as; Don Formularo, Josh Dion and many others. At the age of 25 he moved to Valencia, Spain to study a Masters in Music Performance at Berklee College of Music. He has received tuition from some of the best jazz musicians internationally such as; Laurence Cottle, Janek Gwizdala, Gary Willis and Perico Sambeat.
Drummer Andy Chapman has worked with some of the biggest names on the UK jazz scene including Jason Rebello, Kit Downes, Nigel Price, Liane Carroll, Roger Beaujolais and many others.

Just show your ticket for that evening’s performance (the ticket QR code on your phone, or a printout). A table must be booked here or tel: 01202 741463 and food orders placed at least 60 minutes prior to the start time of the gig (eg by 7pm for a 8pm start).
(2) For young people: (i) U18s – FREE entry when accompanied by an adult; (ii) Age 18 to 25 – entry £10 (with NUS / TOTUM card). Simply select the relevant ticket option when booking.
