Vocalist Véronique Joly will be performing in the main bar of The Avocet with saxophonist Terry Quinney and guitarist Rob Palmer.

Paris born Véronique started performing live at the age of 17 and paid her dues on the Paris music scene before moving to London in 1992. She has been involved in many diverse projects including co-writing and recording a song for the BBC programme Rick Stein: French Odyssey. Her latest projects are collaboration with master vibes player Roger Beaujolais plus her new Getz/Gilberto Bossa Nova project (with saxophonist Terry Quinney). Véronique sings in English, French and Portuguese.
Saxophonist Terry Quinney has quickly established himself on the British jazz scene since arriving here a few years ago from Canada, As co-leader of the ‘The Sound Of Blue Note’ band he has performed with UK jazz icons such as Nigel Price, Ian Shaw, Alan Barnes and Gilad Atzmon.
Guitarist Rob Palmer has worked with saxophonist Theo Travis, pianist John Law, vibes player Roger Beaujolais and USA vocalist Lila Ammons.
This gig will be held at The Avocet (formerly The Cow), next to Parkstone Railway Station. Please note the 20:00 (8 pm) start time for the forseeable future.
